What We Are. The Iloilo Economic Development Foundation Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization founded by key representatives from the local government, business community and private individuals, commited to fast track the development of the City and Province of Iloilo by promoting and marketing Iloilo as a premier investment destination.

The Foundation exemplifies another successful story of the strong collaboration between government and private sector who are once again working together in this special project to ensure that Iloilo's business climate is conducive to investments, the locale is poised for growth and the economy becomes robust for the benefit of both the Ilonggos and intended clientele, the investors.

Main Thrust. Promotion and marketing activities to sell the City and Province of Iloilo as an investment destination is basically the main thrust of the Foundation. Specifically, it aims to provide a formal institutional medium that will initiate, organize activities and projects that will improve economic activities in Iloilo. It will become a central clearing house of all promotion related efforts focusing more on the priority areas for investment. Only in its second year, ILEDF made stronger roots by working with strategic partners in the community that will compliment its thrusts.

Vision. Through the collaboration of business, government and civil society, ILED will become the central authority that will ensure a sustainable business environment conducive to generation and growth of investments for the development of the local economy and quality of life in the City and Province of Iloilo.

Mission. As a umbrella authority, ILED will assume, integrate, unify investment promotion and marketing endeavors of government and private enterprises especially in the sectors of information technology, agribusiness and tourism, to achieve maximum efficiency of operations, strong investor relations and sustainable public policy.
